Katherine and Jacob Greenfield Hebrew Academy

“Every blade of grass has an angel over it whispering grow, grow.”
The Talmud

Who we are:

  • Katherine and Jacob Greenfield Hebrew Academy of Atlanta (GHA) is the first Jewish Day School founded in Atlanta providing families of all Jewish affiliations with a stimulating learning environment that celebrates the love of Torah;
  • Our mission is to provide students with an outstanding day school education integrating Judaic and general studies in a vibrant curriculum that is both challenging and stimulating. We nurture within each student respect for the individual, commitment to Judaism, devotion to Israel, passion for learning, appreciation for American ideals and dedication to the Jewish community;

GHA Students:

  • consistently score above other independent and suburban schools on the standardized CTP4 exams;
  • 50% of upper class students qualify for the Center for the Talented Youth Program at Johns Hopkins University;
  • Since its founding over six decades ago, GHA has a proven record of producing accomplished graduates who are also mensches and leaders in the Jewish community;
  • GHA welcomes children who learn differently and helps them develop skills to maximize their potential and a positive self image through its nationally recognized M’Silot (Pathways) program;
  • GHA students can explore and develop their abilities in award winning sports, art, music, science, and theater programs.

Jewish Education is a Birthright:

Your planned gift will change a child’s life and support a strong Jewish future. Your planned gift to GHA ensures that every child has the opportunity to celebrate and affirm Jewish life regardless of financial circumstances. The relationships students build now are critical for their lasting commitment to Judaism.

Leaving a bequest or planned gift to GHA distinguishes you as a visionary who:

  • believes in sustaining and nurturing Atlanta’s founding Jewish Day School;
  • seeks to have an impact on the survival of the Jewish people and realizes that education is the key;
  • recognizes that Jewish education enriches our community as a whole;
  • inspires future generations to make Judaism a vital and relevant aspect of their lives.

Your planned gift benefits:

  • Students: GHA’s thorough intellectual and emotional preparation is a gift to our students that stays with them throughout their lives.
  • Faculty: Engaging, creative, and caring, our educators are dedicated to instilling a lifelong passion for learning, Torah and Judaism.
  • Staff: Comprised of talented, passionate, role models, GHA is a devoted to a team approach where everyone lends a hand.
