The Epstein School, Solomon Schechter School of Atlanta

About The Epstein School

In 1973, Rabbi Harry H. Epstein and the visionary leaders of Ahavath Achim Synagogue dreamed of a Jewish day school that would embrace the core values of Judaism in a nurturing, compassionate and stimulating environment.

Today, The Epstein School, Solomon Schechter School of Atlanta, is one of the finest private Jewish day schools in the nation and continually sets new standards for education and academic excellence. Our unique program prepares students to be successful in the very best high schools, colleges, and beyond. Epstein graduates consistently go on to excel in schools of their choosing and are leaders in the community. The Epstein School combines innovative and traditional teaching methods, to create the finest academic and Judaic education for children from 18 months through the eighth grade.

The Epstein School is a positive force in the Greater Atlanta area, involving itself in cooperative relationships with other Jewish institutions and with the larger community. We are a caring, accepting, and giving organization that respects cultural and religious diversity. Our award-winning faculty and staff provide a nurturing, respectful, and stimulating environment. In partnership with parents, we prepare knowledgeable leaders of a new generation to be responsible citizens.

Why Leave a Bequest or Planned Gift to The Epstein School? Endowment and bequest donations are truly the gifts that sustain and build an institution. Your bequest or planned gift will ensure that The Epstein School will continue to:

  • Ensure Jewish continuity by instilling strong Jewish identity in young people.
  • Create a challenging, integrated bilingual curricula that gives students a competitive edge. We use language immersion, teaching in both English and Hebrew.
  • Utilize the latest, cutting-edge technology for education such as such as smart boards, iTouch technology, hands-on computer programs, and ongoing teacher development.
  • Develop enrichment programs for students wanting extra challenges and support programs for students who need a little extra help.
  • Ensure our campuses have the facilities and programs we need to educate our children.

About The Epstein School Legacy Society

Our Legacy Society was formed in recognition of individuals who through their farsightedness and generosity seek to ensure that the highest quality of educational programming will be available for future generations. The Epstein School celebrates these loyal friends through a legacy display in our Hall of Honor and by highlighting legacy information and gifts in various publications.
