B’nai Torah Envisions the Next 30 Years
Thirty years ago, a small group of Atlantans shared a dream. They imagined a home in which they and their fellow Jews could worship, educate their children, celebrate happy occasions and reach out to those in need. But they did more than imagine. They invested their time, energy, and resources to build our beautiful synagogue.
Today, we are living in the future they only imagined. B’nai Torah’s first 30 years were their gift to us. The next 30 years are in our hands. We invite you to join us in perpetuating their legacy. Our 30th Anniversary Year is the perfect time to be recognized as a guarantor of Congregation B’nai Torah’s future.
The synagogue is the most important institution of Jewish life. B’nai Torah is where we worship, educate ourselves, and our children and grandchildren, extend communal support to one another, celebrate life-cycle events, and come together for cultural, spiritual, and social functions. Our synagogue is the center of Conservative Judaism in the Sandy Springs / Dunwoody area and is an important contributor to Atlanta’s Jewish Community.
B’nai Torah is a welcoming, multi-generational Conservative congregation. We seek to bring Jews into a deeper relationship with God and each other through Jewish observance, prayer and study, and by serving as
- a Beit Tefillah — a community that facilitates regular, meaningful, traditional, gender-inclusive worship
- a Beit Midrash — a community that inspires Jewish learning and engagement for all ages and levels of experience
- a Beit Knesset — a community that fosters friendship, and cares for the spiritual, physical, emotional, and social needs of our congregants and those in need in the larger community
B’nai Torah’s Endowment Funds provide permanent income for the current and future needs of our congregation. They are a cushion against financial uncertainty and allow us to initiate and sustain new programming. By including B’nai Torah in your wills, trusts or other estate planning documents, you can help ensure that our reach and impact continue to grow, strengthening our foundation of existing programs and fostering our ability to respond creatively to new issues and needs that will face our members and the Jewish community as a whole.
Your gift will educate and empower future generations of Jewish children and families. Your gift guarantees the Jewish future.
